Terms
Your deposit secures your ownership of a share of a live beef animal and will be applied to the final purchase price, based on the animal's weight at time of slaughter. The balance for the weight will be invoiced and due at the time of processing.
As the owner of your share, you’ll coordinate directly with a Montana custom-exempt processor for slaughter and custom cutting to your specifications. Processing fees are paid separately by you to the processor prior to pickup, and all packaged meat will be labeled “Not for Sale” as required by Montana and federal law.
The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel or fail to complete the purchase and processing of your share. If we’re unable to provide your reserved beef share for any reason, your deposit will be fully refunded.

PRICING
* All-natural, choice Beef: $7.00 (whole steer) to $7.25 (half steer) per lb.
This is based on the 'hanging weight' of your beef.
* Harvesting Cost: $300 per whole steer, or $150.00 per half. Paid directly to butcher.
* Processing and Packaging Cost: About $1.60 per pound based on the hanging weight, typically around 60% of the 'live' weight. Paid directly to butcher.
